Decommissioning involves a set of discrete activities for which specific resources may be identified, such as the quantity of materials to be handeled (e.g. dismantled), the number of personnel involved in the activity, the duration of the activity, conditions for performing the activity and other parameters. Similar elementary activities may be repeated many times within a decommissioning project and require appropriate resources.
